Bronx Jazz
The Show
For Mwalim & The ZYG 808, life as bandmates, father & son, and being frequent BIPOC road travelers are all part of life. On this trip, Mwalim reveals the legacy of the jazz griot, and how it became the basis of their family tradition. Conversations -ranging from hilarious to extremely series- about music, politics, business, relationships, and family traditions weave their ways in between performances of original Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul and Afrobeat.
